There’s been a lot of talk and some action regarding diversity, inclusion and representation in the media and entertainment industry. Trevor Noah, Hasan Minhaj, Mindy Kaling, Aziz Ansari are just some examples. So then are third Culture kids over-represented in Media? Are they drowning out the voices and stories of their diaspora? Or are they providing a lens and an opening into that very diaspora? Waseem and Mj kick things off but rashed makes a surprise appearance, joining in from a sketchy bar in Thailand. The Convo veers towards the on the ground situation in Thailand and how many Burmese Muslim aka Rohingya have literally set up shops as migrants forced to flee their homes and country.
